Central Newsroom Publishing Is Live Across the Network

24World Media has switched on the central publishing system that connects its outlets into one controlled network. One desk at the hub publishes to individual publications under per-site rules, with every placement recorded.
The system is built on WordPress at the hub and connected to each outlet. A story is written once, then distributed to selected publications from a single screen. Before anything publishes, the outlet’s own category guidelines are applied: categories a title does not accept are blocked at the hub, so a business story cannot land on a title that does not run business coverage, and a mismatched item stops in the queue instead of appearing in the wrong place.
What the hub controls
- Publishing: write once, publish to chosen outlets under each site’s categories and labelling rules.
- Banners: advertising and house placements on every outlet are managed centrally and can be changed across the network from one field.
- Guidelines: per-site checks run before publication; violations are refused and logged, not published and apologised for.
- Reporting: every story carries a manifest of its live placements, readable by authorised partners, including our sister wire, Iconic News Wire, so a client can always re-check where a story ran.
Why it matters
Distribution has a credibility problem in this industry: releases “sent” to lists nobody can inspect. The central system is our answer. Placements are on named publications, decided before publication, labelled when they are commercial, and recorded afterwards. If a link is in the manifest, it is live and checkable; if it is not in the manifest, we did not place it.
CEO News Network and Prime News Times were the first outlets distributed to from the hub in launch testing, with the remaining flagship titles on the same standard. Outlets joining the network, ours as they complete their rebuilds and partner publications by application, are wired into the same controls as they come online.
Publishing runs through the central distribution desk, and announcements appear in the Newsroom as they go live.
