A digital media group, built outlet by outlet

24World Media is a privately held digital media group. We own and operate a network of independent news publications, run a central distribution system for stories and announcements, and work openly with our sister wire, IconicNewswire. This website is the corporate front door for the group: the publications we run, the services we offer, the standards we publish to, and the company record we keep in public.

The network today comprises 33 publications in total — this corporate hub and 32 outlets listed in our public directory. The titles cover general news, business, Canada, legal affairs and politics. They are not copies of one another. Each outlet keeps its own name, audience and editorial emphasis; what they share is the machinery underneath: one publishing platform, one set of guidelines, and a company that can be held to account for the standard of work published in its name.

What we do

The group has four operating lines. News Publishing is the foundation: original reporting and writing published under distinct outlet brands. Central Distribution prepares a story or announcement once, checks it against the guidelines of each proposed publication, publishes it to named placements, and records every live link against the story. Advertising sells display placements, sponsored features and section sponsorships across named publications, with commercial material labelled as advertising or sponsored content. Partner Wire work is handled with IconicNewswire, our sister company, for clients who need distribution beyond the 24World Media network.

Those four lines exist because the same client question kept appearing in different forms: Where will this run, under what rules, and how will I be able to check it afterwards? Our answer is deliberately plain. Placements are named before publication. Editorial checks happen before anything goes live. Commercial relationships are disclosed on the page. Results are reported as live URLs that can be opened and re-checked, not as screenshots, estimates or anonymous lists.

How the network works

Every outlet in the network publishes from the same technical standard: WordPress sites maintained to a common security and performance baseline, with reader registration closed, a small audited plugin set, verified backups, and original content only. Stories are written for the outlet that carries them. The same news is not sprayed across every title; a Canadian story belongs on the Canadian desk, a business story on the business title, and a general-news item runs where its audience actually is.

The hub ties the network together. From this one backend, our team manages banner placements on each outlet, publishes to individual sites under per-site category guidelines, and keeps a manifest that maps each story to the live links where it appears. Categories that a publication does not accept are blocked at the hub, so a mis-matched story stops in the queue instead of appearing on the wrong site. That check-and-balance is the difference between a network and a pile of websites.

Editorial standards

Our standards are published so that readers, advertisers and partner publishers can judge us against them:

  • Original work only. We do not republish copied feeds, scraped articles, spun text or press material dressed up as reporting. Material that cannot be verified is not published.
  • Named responsibility. Stories carry a desk or author byline. Company announcements in this Newsroom are published under the 24World Media Newsroom byline.
  • Honest labelling. Paid and sponsored content is identified as sponsored, and commercial links follow search-engine guidance. If a placement would not survive being labelled, it does not run.
  • Corrections in the open. When we get something wrong, we correct the record on the page rather than quietly rewriting history.
  • Distinct coverage. Outlets cover their own beats. Sister publications may cover the same event, but they do not run identical copy.

How we make money — stated plainly

24World Media earns revenue from advertising and sponsored placements on its publications, from distribution services that place client stories and announcements on named outlets, and from partner arrangements with publishers and wires, including IconicNewswire. IconicNewswire is our sister company and we say so openly; the two businesses are presented as related services of one group, never disguised as unrelated companies. Editorial decisions — what our newsrooms cover and how they cover it — are not sold. Advertisers buy placements and distribution, clearly labelled; they do not buy news coverage.

Where we are in the rebuild

During 2026 the network is being rebuilt title by title to the standard described above. The first rebuilt flagship outlets — among them CEO News Network, Prime News Times, Trending News Talk, Official News Web and Big News Canada — are live on the new platform, and this hub now runs the central system that connects them. Other titles in the directory are at different stages: some are live on their existing platforms, some are in cleanup, and some are scheduled for rebuild. The directory shows each publication’s status as it stands; we would rather mark a title “in cleanup” than pretend a half-finished site is finished.

Work with us

Advertisers and agencies can start on the Advertise page. Companies and PR teams with a story to place can read how Distribution works. Independent publishers who want their outlet considered for the network will find the criteria on the Partners page. For everything else — including corrections, press enquiries and questions about a specific story — use the Contact page and the right desk will pick it up.
